❖ Celeste Linguini is the perfect combination of her mother and her father. She inherited some good traits! Like her mother’s ability to stay determined and focused on her work. It’s helped her get decent grades in school. She got her father’s kind, funny personality. But then there’s the bad traits. Just like her mother, Celeste has a very short fuse. It doesn’t take much to set her off. Only a fool would cross her. She might be a spit fire, but that doesn’t stop her from being clumsy. She’s always breaking things, which is a real disaster if you are training to become a chef. Oh, cooking. Sometimes, Celeste wonders if food runs through her blood. After all, she’s the grandaughter of one of France’s most famed chefs! If not, the world’s most famed chef, Auguste Gusteau! Growing up in her father’s restaurant has given Celeste a chance to learn the ropes of how the food industry works. Some day, she hopes to open her own restaurant, and make her parents proud. That’s what Celeste strives for:  acceptance. From her parents, from her friends, from anywhere she could get it. She’s not a goody two shoes. She just— yeah. She’s a goody two shoes. So what?
